With over 25 years of experience, she has made significant contributions to the fields of architecture, design, and education. As the Founder and Director, she leads with a vision to integrate creativity, sustainability, and innovation, inspiring the next generation of design professionals.

The proud Founder and Director of Sukriti Professional Academy and Sukriti Architecture & Interiors. With over 25 years of experience in the world of architecture and design, I have had the privilege of leading over 1000 prestigious and high-level projects across various sectors, from healthcare to residential and corporate interiors. Alongside my practice, I am deeply committed to shaping the careers of the next generation of designers and architects.
I have always been driven by a passion for creativity and a desire to merge art with functionality, enhancing the lives of individuals through thoughtful design. Throughout my journey, I have continuously sought to break new ground in education, innovation, and sustainability.
Mentorship and Education
Education has always been close to my heart. For over 15 years, I have been honored to serve as a mentor to countless students. Affectionately called “Guru Maa” by my students, my approach to teaching goes beyond textbooks—it’s about inspiring future designers to think critically, embrace creativity, and push boundaries.
As the Founder of Sukriti Professional Academy, my mission has always been to bridge the gap between industry and education. We collaborate with Kalinga University as an industry partner, ensuring that our students receive the best education, exposure, and opportunities available in the design world.
My Journey in Design and Education
The foundation of my career was laid when I co-founded Sukriti Architecture & Interior in 2006 with my husband and fellow architect, Abhishek Kumar. Together, we’ve worked on transformative projects across healthcare, residential, corporate, and hospitality sectors. Our collaborative achievements include being recognized among the 10 most promising Hospital Architecture service providers in 2019.
While thriving in practice, I noticed a gap between design education and real-world applications. This realization inspired me to embrace teaching, and soon, I found myself leading design programs across prominent institutions. I thrived in these roles, igniting young minds and empowering them to think critically and creatively.
To bridge this gap fully, I launched Sukriti Professional Academy—a hub for budding interior designers where practical skills meet academic rigor. By infusing our programs with industry relevance and fostering innovation, I strive to equip students with tools to excel in this ever-evolving field.
